Nice and innovative charger, now one won't worry if he or she ran out of battery, since all what is needed is a AA battery and the penlight charger, and he is good to go.
It's not an unattractive device.
Just added a an update to the post.
This device is rather practical. However, I think that the N93 already has a powerful battery therefore I can do without it. On the other hand, if and when I purchase the N95, it may just come in handy.
There is no difference in standby and talktime of the N93i and the N95. There is also no difference in batterytype and capacity or even a difference in the processor and chipset used in the camera. The N93 is a different story, it has 16% percent more battery capacity and 30% more talktime and a neglecticable increase in standby time. The N93i suposedly can record 90 minutes of video. Is the N93 far more superior in this respect?

If the N93i had a GPS I would have been sorely tempted to accept the added 5 mm thickness. 3x optical zoom is perfect for a handheld device. And 3.2 MPixel photo's more than sufficient for most.
I have used the N93 since Aug 2006 and can only say that the battery life is excellent no matter how I seem to use it. The 16% more battery capacity is more than worth the trade off when vanity is considered. If the N93 had GPS the battery life would probably still be satisfactory for normal and even power users.

GPS with external speakers runs the battery dry in about 2 hours. Movie recording dries them in about 60 to 90 minutes. The n93 is only no different in that. The chipset is even identical. 16% is nice but not worldshattering. No the problem is that you have a device with 5 functions and not 5x the battery capacity of each of the individual devices. And any new gadget is a bit like a tamagotchi. You play with it until it dies.

There is a reason why mp3 players are still sold.
