My old N95 is doing fine. The front is beat up. The battery cover has been replaced 3 times. The SD card door needed some glue. the internals are fine.

My first N82 was lost.

My second N82 has a speaker problem and needs to be sent in for service.
My first N95 died on me one week ahead of my vacation, thanks to good friends I was able to borrow anothe one so my vacations was saved. Took 3,5 weks before I got my N95 back, and then i was replaced, well the electronics part of it. This "new" one seems to be better so I hope it will last at least until next summer

Hi Al, you did not mention the curent active age of your N95, N82's... And I only want to count IMEI changes. Meaning full hardware failure....
How old was it when it died?
I have had my N95-3 for over a year, same IMEI. I have used it *very* extensively during that time
Nice, both my N95-1 kicked the bucket within a year each.

I guess I’m the anomaly here. I’ve had my N95-1 for almost two years now and I can say it’s the most bullet-proof device I’ve ever owned! And I’m not kind to my phones, so this is not due to treating it gently. This phone has been taken to the beach two summers in a row, where it’s been dropped in the sand, many times, actually got wet when a wave hit me and it was in my pocket; I travelled to many countries with my N95, like Thailand, Loa, and, most recently, Panama, where I repeatedly took my N95 underwater in a plastic bag (and shot some incredible pix and video, BTW). I have used and abused this phone more than any I have ever owned. I can’t even count the times I’ve flashed it because I have too much going on and wanted to start fresh. I’ve dropped the phone many times where it ‘exploded’, but every time I put it back together, it fires right up, no problem. The only thing that’s happened to my phone is that the paint has worn off of the edges at this point, but that to be expected and it makes the phone look more ‘rugged’, lol. I hope my next Nokia phone performs as well and it as durable as my trusty N95-1. As of this comment, it’s beside me still ticking away!

I still have mine after 12 months of usage. I've had a few issues with it but because of my distance from a Nokia service center (over 500kms one way) I haven't yet had mine looked at.

The issues I've had have been the vibrator doesn't stop, the camera fails to activate and the fact that the phone is deaf, eg; as poor reception when more than 5kms from a cell site. I'm yet to try it with the new firmware that I need on it the other day but I'm not going to hold my breath over it.

Other than these issues I'm happy with my N95. It's one of the reasons I haven't upgraded to an iPhone because my N95 can do more.
