I had two N95's that did not outlast a year of heavy usage. So time to ask the community. How many months did/do you own a N95. How many times in that period did it get a new IMEI number? Meaning having it's inner hardware replaced. Please post a comment below, especially if it did not break down. We all know those that had a breakdown will post :-P
I want to know wether I can sell the phone to a friend or not.
Grtz,

Yes it really is. After doing a whole 4 weeks without my N95 they give me a new one. And yes it's broken. The internal speaker is broken. Actually to day I brought it back to the service point. Guess what I heard.
The first time the phone was back in two weeks, quite good of Nokia. Not a whopping 4 weeks. They just did not notify me. Ahhh, well they claimed to have sent an e-mail. Sure. They refuse to call when the phone is repaired. I guess it is cheaper for me to call them every day. No really, I am keeping my fingers crossed this time. These people say it takes 2-8 weeks for a repair. Uhu. If it takes 8 weeks, I'll start buying SonyEricsson again and a handycam. I guess it is profitable to charge twice for a broken phone.
This company actually has different waiting lines for their own customers and the second-rate Nokia Care customers. Well Nokia cares, they don't. There are people actually turning their thumbs while they have you wait in the Nokia line where someone is sitting and MAKING MULTIPLE phone calls for a bloody 30 minutes instead of taking in a broken phone for 5 minutes. I can not imagine this being acceptable policy for Nokia. Next time I'll drive the bloody 30 minutes to another service center and get actual service. And Nokia gave no reply to my complaint. Customer feedback seems non-existence these days.
I would love for Nokia to post their warranty and service regulations on the internet. And see what they consider acceptable service and acceptable repairtime. Especially if we are talking badly designed phones.
